Introduction
Hello, let me start out by introducing myself. I go by the name Raquel. I'm 26 years old and I live in a semi-small town in west Texas. I love Texas! I'm happily married to my best friend for a little over a year now :) I was introduced to crocheting about 7 months ago, ever since then I've been in love with yarn. About 2 weeks ago I introduced myself to knitting. I was amazed at all the patterns knitting could create. I made a promise to myself that I would be the best knitter I could be......so I'm slowly teaching myself this wonderful creation! This is what my journey is all about. I want you to be with me at the beginning and till the end. I'll try not to screw it up :/

I like how much you're doing with your home and the hobbies that you are picking up. I have always been interested in crafts and stuff like that and learned basic sewing at a very early age, followed closely by cross-stitching, which I keep thinking I'm going to pick back up.
As I think I've told you, I tried to learn to knit or crochet a few times but without much luck (mostly because I was a lefty with a right-handed teacher I think) and I keep thinking I'd like to eventually try it again and do it too.
So along that line, I hope you don't think I'm imposing on your new-found hobbies when I talk about wanting to learn them too : ). It's just that I am interested too, and hope that you don't feel threatened (like I'm trying to compete with you or take away your special talent) if I eventually pick it up too. But don't worry, it will be a lonnnnnng while.
I think you're doing a great job and I'm delighted to see this blog you've created and I hope you stick to this as well. I will do my best to keep up with you and just know that your creativity is very inspiring!
